SOA (Start of Authority) record configuration

Default Values

• serial: Automatically generated in YYYYMMDD01 format (e.g., 2025120601) if not provided
• refresh: 3600 seconds
• retry: 600 seconds
• expire: 604800 seconds (7 days)
• negative_ttl: 86400 seconds (1 day)

Fields

primary_ns: String

Primary nameserver (e.g., “ns1.example.com.”)

admin_email: String

Admin email (e.g., “admin.example.com.”)

serial: u32

Serial number (e.g., 2025120601) - defaults to current date in YYYYMMDD01 format

refresh: u32

Refresh interval in seconds (default: 3600)

retry: u32

Retry interval in seconds (default: 600)

expire: u32

Expire time in seconds (default: 604800)

negative_ttl: u32

Negative TTL in seconds (default: 86400)
