Expand description

Errors raised while resolving or loading the TLS transport configuration.

Every variant is fatal at startup — bindcar refuses to bind rather than downgrade to plaintext.

Variants§

§

IncompleteKeyPair

Exactly one of the certificate/key pair was supplied.

Fields

§supplied: &'static str

The option that was supplied.

§missing: &'static str

The option that was missing.

§

ClientCaWithoutTls

A client CA was supplied without a server certificate and key.

§

CertRead

The certificate file could not be read or contained no certificates.

Fields

§path: String

The configured certificate path.

§reason: String

The underlying error, rendered.

§

KeyRead

The private key file could not be read.

Fields

§path: String

The configured key path.

§reason: String

The underlying error, rendered.

§

KeyParse

The private key did not match the certificate, or was otherwise rejected.

Fields

§path: String

The configured key path.

§message: String

Why rustls rejected the key.

§

ClientCaRead

The client CA bundle could not be read.

Fields

§path: String

The configured client CA path.

§reason: String

The underlying error, rendered.

§

ClientCaInvalid

The client CA bundle parsed but produced no usable trust anchors.

Fields

§path: String

The configured client CA path.

§message: String

Why the bundle was rejected.
